1. Check Whether The Service Is The Problem
Restart the game once and test another online service. If multiple players report an outage at the same time, local changes will not restore the game server. If other services work and the error repeats, continue below.
2. Verify Steam Files
- Open Steam Library.
- Right-click MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls or click its gear icon.
- Select Properties.
- Open Installed Files.
- Click Verify integrity of game files.
- Wait for Steam to finish, then launch the game again.
If Steam replaces a file, retest before changing anything else.
3. Resync Windows Time
- Right-click the clock in the Windows taskbar.
- Select Adjust date and time.
- Enable automatic time if it is disabled.
- Click Sync now under clock synchronization.
- Restart the game and retry sign-in.
Authentication can fail when the local clock is out of sync.
4. Test A Wired Connection
Connect the PC directly to the router with Ethernet, restart Steam, and retry. If Ethernet works while Wi-Fi fails, troubleshoot the wireless connection rather than reinstalling the game.
5. Flush The DNS Cache
- Right-click Start and open Windows Terminal (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin).
- Approve the UAC prompt.
- Run
ipconfig /flushdns. - Confirm Windows reports that the DNS Resolver Cache was flushed.
- Restart Steam and test the game.
6. Repair The PlayStation PC Runtime
The supplied community report identifies a fix for failures where PlayStation sign-in components were missing:
- In Steam, open the game's Properties and select Installed Files.
- Click Browse to open the installation directory.
- Search that directory for
pspcsdkruntimeinstaller.msi. - Run the installer and complete the PlayStation PC runtime setup.
- Restart Windows, launch Steam, and retry the game.
This community fix also reported resolving a libScePad error. Use it only when the installer exists in the official game directory.
Ready Check
- Verified Steam files

- Tested Ethernet
- Flushed DNS
- Repaired PlayStation runtime when applicable
