Four RolesAssist CoverageSwitching

Step 1: Lock Your Leader

The official beginner guide recommends starting with the hero or villain you want to learn. Your Leader should be the fighter whose movement, defense, and short confirm you can already execute.

Step 2: Add Horizontal Coverage

The Shooting Assist travels across the stage regardless of position according to the supplied controls guide. Use it to support approach, cover space, or continue a grounded sequence.

Step 3: Add Vertical Coverage

The Vertical Assist attacks upward from its slot. Use it when your Leader needs help contesting jumps or vertical movement.

Step 4: Test Switching

After an assist, watch for the documented Switch prompt. Rotate only when the assist and screen position make the transition useful.

Step 5: Evaluate The Team
